Back in October there were rumors swirling about a TV Series called Krypton, which would focus on the years leading up to the planet’s destruction and Kal El’s journey to Earth. SyFy has officially announced that they along with Warner Horizon Television have partnered with David S. Goyer (Constantine) and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) to produce the series. Apparently, this show will focus on Kal El’s grandfather as opposed to Jor El and Lara, his parents. Below is the official logo.

Krypton will join an expanding list TV shows based on DC-Comics characters. This includes: Supergirl on CBS and Titans on TNT.
