Golden Globe-nominated actor Blair Underwood is reportedly set on to appear in “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” as Melinda May’s (Ming-Na Wen) estranged ex-husband, Dr. Andrew Garner. He will make his debut on the series in March 2015, after the winter break.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye aka Quake, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb are Executive Producers. In the interim, until its return in March “Marvel’s Agent Carter” will fill its time slot.
