Happy New Year All!

I hope that yours was great and that you’re looking forward to 2015 as much as I am! That said, we comic book/comic book movie fans have some VERY COOL things to look forward to this spring and summer.

First there’s that sequel…you know, the second movie in the series following one of the highest grossing films in history…Avengers: Age of Ultron!

This is possibly the most highly anticipated film of 2015 and I am psyched as much, or even more than most. But, there’s another little movie that’s making it’s way to the Big Screen this summer…Ant-Man!

While this film has certainly had its ups and downs, both minor and major, it has been the one Marvel film which most fans have looked at with a raised eyebrow. You know, like the world used to look at Guardians ot the Galaxy before it went on to be Marvel’s highest grossing film of 2014.

I have BIG hopes for the Ant-Man film, pun most definitely intended. If the attached trailer doesn’t spark your interest and add a sense of wonder to whatever level of anticipation you had before, please check your pulse. While I don’t expect for this film to do what Iron Man 3, The Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy did in terms of box office mojo, I do think it will fair well, or at least better than expected.

Like most fans, I’m curious how this film will advance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and what role the characters will play in future films, such as Avengers: Infinity War I & II. After viewing this trailer, I was struck with a sense of wonder similar to the experience I had as a kid, reading the comic book source material that spawned this film.
