Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will write the upcoming two-part Avengers: Infinity War.

The duo will pen Captain America: Civil War, prior to their work on “Infinity War.” Markus and McFeely have previously worked on Marvel Studios productions such as: Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, and “Marvel’s Agent Carter.”

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War Part I is slated for release in IMAX theaters on May 4, 2018; Part II will open on May 3, 2019.
